Author Visits for Schools & Events
Lindsey Leavitt is a former elementary school and K-12 substitute teacher. She’s taught in hundreds of schools over the last twenty years and traveled to twenty two states (Maine, North Dakota, and Alaska—call her!). She writes for all grades and all ages, but currently focuses on elementary and middle school readers. Maybe next year she’ll write a book for adults or babies. Maybe she’ll travel and eat gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches. And then write a book about grilled cheese sandwiches so she can count it all as research. Or maybe the grilled cheese sandwich, we’ll call him Colby, is a world traveler. She absolutely calls dibs on this idea.
